I just talked to my mom on the phone . She was upset about my complaints about her bad advice that I would misinterpret and humiliate myself over .
It turns out that she does not investigate anything she recommends to others, nor does she accept accountability for giving the bad advice in the first place .
I apologize if I have ever made similar vague suggestions . Ideally, I prefer to be fully informed about things I commit to
( The good AND the bad ) . I try to know what I am paying for before being trapped in a contract I can not escape from .
